Laura Hicklin, M.S. CF-SLP

Laura completed her Bachelor’s of Arts degree at Fresno State University in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. She went on to obtain her Master’s of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New York University. Prior to her graduate studies, she worked as an Instructional Aid to Special Education, supporting elementary-aged children in their academic and communicative abilities. 

Laura has experience in providing services to individuals with a diverse range of communicative needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dysphagia (feeding and swallowing disorders), Traumatic Brain Injury, cognitive deficits, expressive/receptive language disorders, and Fluency. Laura also has experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) applications, such as Proloquo2Go, LAMP Words for Life, Go Talk, and Touch Chat, which aid in expanding communicative abilities.

 Laura is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of others by fostering and enriching their communication skills, empowering individuals to thrive in both their personal and professional endeavors.
