Katie Solesky
MA, CCC-SLP, TSSLD
Katie is a New York State licensed and American Speech and Language Association (ASHA) certified Speech Language Pathologist who works and resides in New York City. She earned her BA in Linguistics, English, and Education from Bucknell University and her MA in Speech-Language Pathology from Montclair State University, combining her passion for language and communication to support both pediatric and geriatric populations.
She holds a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certificate in New York State, is certified in LSVT LOUD® (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) and SPEAK OUT!® programs, and completed the Natural Language Acquisition training program from the Meaningful Speech coursework to support gestalt language processors. Katie has clinical experience in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), as well as diagnosing and treating articulation, language, fluency, and motor speech disorders. She is also experienced in treating adults with aphasia, cognitive-linguistic deficits, and speech and swallowing disorders related to head and neck cancer, stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s disease, and dementia.
Katie highly values the individuality of each client, customizing treatment to suit their unique interests and needs. She is passionate about creating a functional and motivating therapy experience, dedicated to helping clients achieve their speech and language goals.
