Katie Solesky

M.A., CF-SLP

After earning her BA in Linguistics, English, and Education from Bucknell University, Katie received her MA in Speech-Language Pathology from Montclair State University in order to apply her passion for language and communication to support both pediatric and geriatric populations.

She has clinical experience in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), feeding, dysphagia, articulation and phonological disorders, and motor speech disorders. She is skilled in working with children presenting with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, and receptive and expressive language disorders. Katie is also passionate about working with adults who present with aphasia, cognitive-linguistic deficits, and dysarthria, as well as lymphedema and speech and swallowing disorders secondary to head and neck cancer, stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s disease, and dementia. She is certified in voice treatment programs, including SpeakOut! and the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD). 

Katie enjoys working to create activities unique to each client. She believes in educating, learning from, and collaborating with families, and other therapy professionals, to help facilitate maximum success outside of the therapy room.
