Cecilia Bolger

Cecilia Bolger is a New York State licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She obtained a Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders from SUNY New Paltz and a Masters of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Lehman College. She also holds a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certificate with a Bilingual Extension (BE). 

With experience across clinical and school settings, Cecilia has worked with both pediatric and young adult populations in areas including expressive and receptive language, pragmatics, articulation and phonology, literacy, fluency, echolalia, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She has completed extensive training in a variety of AAC programs and is a Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) trained clinician, specializing in supporting autistic individuals who communicate using delayed echolalia. Additionally, she has completed advanced training in AAC for Gestalt Language Processors.

Cecilia is committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming therapy, tailoring her approach to honor the unique needs, preferences, and sensory differences of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She prioritizes a strengths-based, client-centered approach, ensuring therapy aligns with the individual’s interests and communication style.

Fluent in Spanish, Cecilia is passionate about supporting bilingual families, helping them preserve their language and culture while addressing speech and language development.
