Ani Chamesian, M.S., CCC-SLP
Ani currently evaluates and treats adults in the outpatient setting and assists language development classes for toddlers. Ani has clinical experience with voice, gender affirming voice, receptive/expressive language, motor speech, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia) in the inpatient hospital and outpatient setting. She is skilled in working with toddlers and children presenting with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), fluency (stuttering), and receptive and expressive language delay and disorders. She is also passionate about working with adults who present with various forms of aphasia, dysarthria, cognitive-linguistic deficits and dysphagia secondary to mild cognitive impairment, dementia, stroke, brain injury, and Parkinson’s disease. Ani has completed training in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT). Ani also has experience with conducting telehealth services for treatment of speech and language disorders.
Ani enjoys going the extra mile to make speech therapy beneficial, engaging and fun for her clients. She believes in utilizing functional activities that are important for the client and family members to promote carry-over at home. Ani's overall goal is to improve her clients confidence and comfort related to communication and swallowing!
